Cat nip for cats
Catnip is a safe and effective herb for cats. I have never noticed any negative side effects, in fact the aftermath of a playful and energetic bout of catnip induced euphoria results in a more peaceful and calmer cat.

Recipe Instructions:
:Add a few fresh leaves to drinking water, or mix a small amount directly into food. My cat will eat the dried and crush herb without it being mixed with anything. Catnip filled toys are a great source of amusement. Catnip stems are a favorite also - I save them after stripping the leaves when harvesting catnip.
