Psychedelic: Mind Altering Plants
Mind altering plants and herbs have been important in shaping the cultures and religious ceremonies of many primitive and advanced cultures. Many of these plants are toxic in high doses, indeed the main difference between a poison, a medicine and a narcotic is one of dosage.
Datura has been grown in common gardens for its trumpet flowers appearance and Belladonna (Deadly Nightshade) for its unusual bell shaped flowers. While caution is advised to use any part and be educated about the plants.
