Calendula Blister Balm

Calendula and Tea Tree Balm

While the calendula balm will work well on its own, the addition of essential oils greatly reduces the potential for infection. While many essential oils could be chosen for this recipe, tea tree, lavender, and chamomile are powerful antibacterials, and yet are gentle enough so as to not cause skin irritation in most people.

This calendula based salve is good for all manner of abrasions, cuts, blisters, and is a must have addition to any home first aid kit.
