Garlic can get the digestive juices flowing before meals and stimulate appetite in finicky eaters. Add small amounts directly to pet food. This works better in dogs than in cats, (my cats act as if I am trying to poison them) and has an added benefit of discouraging fleas. Garlic discourages tapeworms and other internal parasites, if fed to the animal over a period of one to two months. Combine goldenseal with garlic in ridding cats and dogs of tapeworms. |
