Recipe Instructions:
Syrup
:
- Bring herbs and berries to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Strain and measure the reserved liquid.
- Mix with honey using the ratio of 1 part liquid to 2 parts honey. Return to the pot and heat gently until honey and herbal liquid are mixed. DO NOT BOIL as this will disturb the beneficial enzymes in the honey.
- Add the brandy (optional).
- Give in single tablespoon doses. This syrup is a great addition to cold teas.
