Siberian ginseng, also known as eleuthero ginseng or eleuthero, is one of the primary tonic herbs, which means it works it's magic over time. It is often combined with other other adaptogens, like panax ginseng, astragalus, or schisandra to build immunity in cold and flu season. The mild, slightly woody taste of eleuthero combines well with ginger which helps to boost its effectiveness.

Ingredients:
Eleuthero *
Additions: honey, lemon
Recipe Instructions: Decoction : Bring to a slow boil in quart (4 cups of water), simmer for 20 minutes or in a covered container until liquid reduces by about a cup and the tea is cool enough to drink. Don't strain, the roots will sink to the bottom, pour off the top. You can double the recipe and keep in the fridge to have a hand for a few days.
