Hypoglycemic: Herbs To Lower Blood Sugar
Hypoclycemic plants act to lower abnormally high blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Plants with hypoglycemic activity have been the subject of numerous studies and intense interest because of the surge in adult onset dibetes. There are over 400 such plants, too many to list here. While many of these plants have shown promise in studies and in traditional medicines, their appearance on this list does not mean they can be considered primary treatments for diabetes, but certainly can be included as part of a healthy lifestyle.
